Preparing for your
move
The price of the removal will depend on how much work our porter/s need
to do. Make sure that everything that needs disassembling like wardrobes, desks and closets etc have been done
and that all your boxes are packed and ready and are put in the room closest to the front door if you can.
Please move anything from the front hall or garden that may obstruct our porters when
we are moving your goods. Please remove doors from their hinges if you
know that some big items will not fit through with them on although of
course we can do this for an extra charge. Remove all rugs and movable
carpets that may obstruct or cause our porters to slip or fall. Also ensure
that all white goods have been disconnected.

What we expect
from you
We help load and unload the vans but do not pack boxes or disassemble
furniture or disconnect appliances unless otherwise stated, we can at
an extra cost. If some items are too big to get out normally we expect
you to remove doors or windows so that they can fit through. You should
also if you can save a parking space for our vans, usually the size of
2 car spaces, any fines or fees incurred are the responsibility of the
customer.
